Hershberger worked as an intern at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and did commercials while in the college. Following graduation in 2005 Hershberger had left Pennsylvania for a new entertainment job with a company in Los Angeles, California. In the course of this time, Hershberger entered the internet scene and appeared on numerous YouTube channels, including IGN, Fandom, Smosh, Rhett and Link, TheFineBros, Nerdist, and more. Her first break on the internet came in March 2012 when she took on the role of full-time host for SourceFed. This YouTube Original channel is owned by DeFranco Creative and Business Inc. In February 2013, Hershberger, along with her co-hosts from SourceFed was awarded one of the awards for Series of the Year (An An Audience Choice Award) during the 3rd Annual Streamy Awards and won Best News and Culture Series the following year, at the fourth Annual Streamy Awards.
