Sandrine Holt, born Sandrine Holt in London on 19th November 1972. Her parents are Chinese and French parents. When she was five, she moved to Toronto in Canada, and has considered it her home ever since. Her first job was as Paris catwalk model, but later decided to pursue a career as an actress. In the 1991 film Black Robe, she made her debut in film as Annuka. This role was recognized with the Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. The movies Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed with guest performances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. John Woo's The Thief featured her in 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was later followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. Both films are only available as DVDVHS. After a series of smaller role for her in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and other films she got her first bigger role as an actor in the lead role. Holt's career began with appearing as a guest on television, as well as smaller movies. Holt then took the lead role in Hostages In 2013, as well as a supporting character in Netflix's House of Cards. She also played Julie Han in The Returned's US remake. Then, she was cast as the character Dr. Bethany Exner.
